Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and acquire new customers in the transportation industry.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements with customers.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Track and report on sales metrics, including revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build connections.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or similar role in the transportation/logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight, trucking, and logistics services will be helpfull.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, as required.
