Role description: Brand Champion, Calgary is a pretty awesome role where you’ll wear many hats and be involved at the ground level of this exciting industry and company. You’ll be working closely with Management and Owners on revving the marketing engine and most importantly, our Guests happy. From marketing to product sourcing to Head Office administration, there will never be a dull day as you’ll have your hand in many aspects of our business.
Time requirement: This is a full-time (40hrs/week), on-site position out of our Calgary location with some travel or off-site work required (sounds fun though, hey!)
Role responsibilities:
- Coordination and execution of high-impact, global marketing projects
- Social media management, email marketing support, website updates and supporting online advertising initiatives
- Sourcing and purchasing (and often designing!) company apparel and merchandise
- Help plan and run company events, assisting with and working trade shows, on-site and off-site activations
- Coordinating and building up our partner programs, contests and collaborations
- Assist with campervan sales across the country
- Work closely with the Calgary and greater Karma Campervans team on daily administration tasks and to-dos
- Office coordination, organization, filing of documents
- Supporting the Guest Reservations team with walk-in inquiries, quotes, and Guest interaction, surveys and research (oh my!)
- Greeting and engaging with Guests, liaise with suppliers and partners as needed
- Materials/supplies sourcing for front office
Skills and key attributes:
- Administration skills and ability to work with and learn various software programs
- Organized and highly detail oriented
- Ability to take direction and execute tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, team player, enthusiastic and a ready to exceed expectations
- Highly self directed and able to complete tasks as required with limited supervision
- Love of the outdoors, campervans, and travel!
Experience/qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google Drive and Canva
- Experience in social media marketing, online advertising and email marketing
- Event coordination experience an asset
- Past work with a RV/vehicle rental dealership or in hospitality an asset
Wage expectations:
We recognize and value industry experience and your compensation will reflect this. Wage will be $25-$35/hr depending on experience and skill set. Yearly bonus opportunities - based on company and personal goal achievement. Regular performance reviews and 360 feedback.
