We are currently assisting with recruitment for a Tool Crib Attendant for a local business in Lambton County. In this role you will manage the inventory, distribution, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and shop supplies. This role is essential in ensuring production employees have the tools and materials they need to work safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Issue, receive, and track tools, equipment, and consumable supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reorder stock as required.
- Inspect, clean, and coordinate repairs or calibration of tools and equipment.
- Organize the tool crib to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
- Assist with receiving shipments and verifying inventory.
- Support production by ensuring timely availability of tools and materials.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a tool crib, warehouse, or industrial manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
