Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety standards across our facility. This role involves performing routine cleaning and basic facilities maintenance to ensure a hygienic and organized environment.
Work Schedule: This position is four days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping and trash removal throughout the industrial and office facility
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and common spaces according to company standards
- Wipe down and clean industrial equipment.
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of the premises to identify areas needing attention or repair
- Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ensure all work areas are sanitized and free of hazards to promote a safe working environment
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Commitment to following safety guidelines and maintaining a clean work environment
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
