Role Summary:
As a Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in servicing in-situ and permanent water treatment sites in accordance with local regulations and MOE requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in Environmental, Industrial Water Treatment and/or Chemistry, and Wastewater Treatment. This position is mainly in lower mainland although certain job sites may require travel /or out of town work depending on availability. Compensation & Benefits:
- The posted hourly range for the position is 28CAD-33CAD, however, the actual wage will be dependent on individual experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Visit various sites to service water treatment facilities
- Adhere to MOE requirements for service operations
- Create service reports and fill out log sheets as required for each site
- Diagnose and repair systems & equipment as required
- Interact professionally with clients, engineers, and other professionals
- Maintain timely and accurate communication with all stakeholders
- Audit site to ensure best practices for remediation is in place
- Be available for on-call and emergency situations as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- 2-4 years of previous work experience within the Water Treatment / Construction industry
- EOCP Level 1 certification is required
- Self-starter with strong initiative
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record is mandatory
- Ability to lift heavy loads of up to 50lbs
- Ability to work unsupervised throughout the workday

- Must have a strong attention to detail
- Determined work ethic and willing to do what it takes to get the job done
- Has the ability to multitask while prioritizing competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Work Environment:
The Field Technician will work primarily at various water management sites, which may vary in location and complexity. This role involves regular driving to and from these sites. Technicians will encounter a range of environments, from urban settings to remote locations, while working closely with various teams to ensure optimal water treatment operations.
