Head Cook/Kitchen Manager
Music at Port Milford is seeking experienced, hardworking team player to manage and operate our kitchen this summer. LIVE -IN option available.
Dates: July 2- August 3, 2026
Job Type: Contract
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare 3 meals a day, 6 days a week for 55-60 residents
- Supervise Kitchen Staff
- Accommodate dietary restrictions
- Administration and inventory control
- Food ordering within strict budget
- Ensure safe preparation of all meals and maintain organized, clean kitchen
Qualifications:
- 4+ years experience in large quantity cooking, completion of 2 year culinary school, or equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Capable of multi-tasking and staying calm under pressure
- Excellent References
License or certification:
- Food Handlers Certificate
- Driver’s License
- Police Background Check
