Overview
We are seeking a friendly and experienced Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and the ability to create an engaging atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Restock bar supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of beverages.
- Assist with food service when necessary, including serving food at banquets or catering events.
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies, including checking IDs and monitoring guest consumption.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy hours, especially in nightclubs or large events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills or tips accurately.
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with local laws.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts; excellent multitasking skills are essential.
- Previous experience in food industry roles such as food service or catering is advantageous.
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques including brewing is desirable.
