Heritage Animal Hospital is currently looking for two individuals to join our team. Duties
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage appointment scheduling, reminders, and patient records efficiently using our clinic management software
- Answer phone calls promptly, provide information to pet owners, and handle inquiries professionally
- Assist veterinary technicians and veterinarians with clinical tasks such as restraining animals, collecting samples, and preparing exam rooms
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, treatment rooms, and entire hospital to ensure a safe environment for staff and animals
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and ensuring proper storage of medications and equipment
- Document patient histories, treatment notes, and laboratory results accurately while adhering to privacy standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Passion for animals with a caring attitude and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed
- Basic computer skills; familiarity with veterinary practice management software is advantageous

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
