Job Summary
We are a manufacturing company located in Surrey, BC. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within various databases and ERP systems. This role requires strong computer skills, excellent typing abilities, and a keen eye for detail to ensure data integrity and efficiency in administrative processes. Duties
- Enter, update, and maintain data within company databases and ERP systems with high accuracy
- Manage large volumes of data collection, ensuring completeness and correctness
- Perform data verification and quality checks to identify discrepancies or errors
- Organize and file physical and electronic documents systematically
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data retrieval, and record management
- Support team members with clerical duties including copying, scanning, and data entry tasks
- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and record keeping
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless data flow and documentation accuracy
- May be required to assist with shipping/ receiving/ packing
Experience
- Prior office experience or clerical experience preferred
- Knowledge of Shipping/ Receiving practices considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, and data manipulation
- Experience working with databases and ERP systems is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy (speed is a plus)
- Familiarity with general office equipment such as filing systems, scanners, and copiers
- Demonstrated ability to handle data entry projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook)
This role is ideal for candidates who are meticulous, dependable, and eager to contribute to a well-organized administrative team. This is a part-time position, 1 to 3 days (8-24 hours) per week, with the shift days and times to be determined. We thank all applicants in advance.
