We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Kitchen Helper/Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Cook dishes in accordance with established procedures, ensuring consistency and quality
- Handle food safely, adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Follow all safety guidelines related to cooking, food storage, and hygiene standards
- Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock levels
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Strong understanding of serving protocols and customer service principles
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Food industry or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory for entry-level applicants
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment
Food Handling certificate must
Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
