Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to support our field operations. This role involves assisting with various excavation and construction tasks on job sites. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
About Us – What We Do
Our company specializes in a wide range of excavation and construction services, including:
· Site development
· Water and sewer installation
· Culvert repair and replacement
· Septic system installation
· Leaky basement repairs
· Trucking, bulldozing, and excavation
· Hydrovac services
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation
· Load and unload tools, equipment, and materials
· Support installation of water and sewer lines, septic systems, and culverts
· Assist with hydrovac operations and underground utility work
· Perform basic tasks such as digging, shoveling, and backfilling
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
· Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
· Work closely with operators, foremen, and skilled tradespeople
Qualifications and Requirements
· Ability to perform physically demanding labour (lifting 50+ lbs, bending, standing for long periods)
· Strong work ethic and reliability
· Ability to work in outdoor environments in all weather conditions
· Valid driver’s license (preferred)
· Previous experience in construction or excavation is an asset
· Knowledge of basic tools and equipment is an asset
· Willingness to learn and take direction
