Summary of Responsibilities
The Senior Credit Analyst completes file reviews for new and existing dealerships, OEM Boatbuilder partners, and 3 rd party lessee’s. These reviews typically involve complex structures and larger credit exposure. The underwriting process requires the use of internal and external communication along with the analysis of financial data to devise a recommendation that maintains the flow of Yamaha inventory purchases and protects the interest of YMFCA from a risk perspective.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct full assessments of new dealer, OEM and lessee prospect files which includes pre and post review communication with applicants, financial analysis and subsequent credit line and security documentation recommendations. Provide financial input to YMCA on prospects if pre-screening is required.
- Complete annual dealer and OEM Boatbuilder file reviews based on priorities established by the Credit Manager. Communicate with dealers or their Accountants for any financial clarity, and the YMFCA Account Managers for Operational input. Complete analysis, propose credit line and security documentation renewals/amendments and notify dealers of results upon approval.
- Administer established file conditions by clearly explaining requirements to dealers, tracking progress in the database, and following-up until received or recommending waivers if warranted.
- Review and assess significant changes to existing dealerships and determine security and documentation requirements (e.g. Share buyouts, Ownership restructuring, Release of collateral).
- Support and enhance tools and procedures pertaining to dealer specific and portfolio-level financial data.
Participate in training & development programs that will enhance underwriting knowledge.

Experience Requirements
- Degree/Diploma: Bachelors Degree/Diploma
- Program of Study: Business or Economics preferred
- Years of Experience: 5-10 years perferred
- Type of Experience: Wholesale/Commercial Credit Underwriting
Skills and Abilities
- Bilingual in French & English.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word)
- Time Management and strong organizational skills

Expected salary range: $70,000 - $75,000/per annum
Although base salary for this position falls within the above posted range, final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
