Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized person to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing sales, keeping the shelves full while ensuring quality is at its best. This role also involves chopping vegetables, trimming herbs, ability to lift boxes up to 40lbs. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
- Cash handling/ cash register
- Chopping vegetables, peeling onions, trimming herbs.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked appropriately
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing drawers at shift end
- Assist in inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Support team members with various store tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Proficiency with POS systems and familiarity with retail technology tools
- Good time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during shifts
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
