Enseri is searching for a Controller for a company located in Mississauga. As the Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing their financial operations and ensuring the integrity of their financial data. This role is ideal for a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting, leadership skills, and a track record of success. You will be responsible for managing a small team and contributing to the strategic financial direction of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Manage tax compliance and reporting.
- Prepare for and lead financial audits.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
