DS Security Solutions is a local, inclusive business in Calgary with an upbeat atmosphere. We service the electronic security and telecommunications industries, and are currently seeking a VoIP installation and service technician who can exhibit our company’s professionalism and positive culture to our lucrative clientele.
This role is primarily based around deployment of VoIP cloud hosted business phone systems and equipment. Training will be provided, but the candidate must already have a strong working understanding of VoIP products and services.

Job duties will include, but are not limited to:
Installing raceways and wire for electronic systems.
Mounting and wiring electronic equipment.
Minor fabrication work if available.
Installing software and configuring systems.
Commissioning and troubleshooting new systems.
Training clients on use and maintenance of their systems.
Servicing/updating/upgrading existing systems.
Checking in and out of jobs using a mobile app.
Updating our service app regarding job progress.
Taking part in an on-call rotation.
Solving problems daily!

Core competencies required:
2 years MINIMUM experience configuring and troubleshooting VoIP telecommunications equipment.
Must possess a valid driver’s license, clean driver abstract and pass security clearances.
High integrity and desire to deliver creative solutions.
Must be ambitious and love to improve our clients businesses.
Can handle the technical understanding of our products well enough to troubleshoot them.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Between hourly wage, on-call pay, benefits and bonuses, the successful candidate can expect to exceed $70K/per year in earnings to start and grow from there.
