J & J Equipment Repair is currently looking for a full time Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Apprentice to join our team at our shop in Powassan.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Repair and service agricultural and industrial heavy equipment within established time standards
- Maintenance on Agricultural and Heavy Equipment
- Diagnostic and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems on agricultural and heavy equipment
- Maintain excellent customer relations
- Undertake assignments as required in support of client needs
- Documenting and communicating work needed and work performed
- Participate in workplace safety at all times
Key Qualifications/Requirements:
- Previous experience in agricultural and industrial equipment an asset
- Must be able to read and understand prints, drawings and technical bulletins
- Must have strong attention to detail and be able to manage often changing and competing priorities
- Must posses a valid class G driver's license
- Must be motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- Must be punctual and have the ability to work without constant supervision
- Computer skills an asset
- Have tools applicable to the position
