As a Manufacturing Night Shift Dental Technician you will be an integral part to the production of high quality dental products and parts. Reporting to the CAD Department Supervisor, your role involves attention to detail, maintenance, computer literacy and organization. This role consists of working with our 3D Printing Team and Milling Team in manufacturing and post processing dental appliances and models using various 3D printers and CNC mills during an evening shift.
Hours: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
However, flexibility is appreciated for changing department needs.
Tasks include:
- Maintenance of all Milling and Printing machines is main priority
- Nesting and loading milling machines with various materials using CAM files and AI
- Loading and removing printed materials from various 3D Printers
- Post processing printed materials in alcohol baths, curing units, drying racks
- Organizing sending and receiving digital files
- Following detailed instructions and safety procedures
Ideal Candidate:
- Responsible independent individual
- Dental CAD/CAM experience preferred, but training will be provided
- Must be organized, clean and thorough
- Works neatly and has high attention to detail
- Able to multitask and work in a fast pace environment
- Team Player
- High Computer Literacy
- Hobbyist interest in 3D printing or CNC an asset
Other duties and responsibilities
- Work with other employees and supervisors to make the department function effectively and minimizing defects
- Maintains clean area, equipment and tools used, montiors inventory levels
- Makes team and supervisor aware of any equipment or tools in need of repair or replacement
- Perform regular maintenance and QC of all printed and milled parts
