Job Summary
We are seeking a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team for a position from Wednesday to Friday. Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am to 6pm & Fridays from 8am to 4pm, with potential of additional day on Saturday when needed. Can offer only Wednesdays and Thursdays as well if only 2 days are wanted. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures when required and perform various patient care, sterilization and laboratory duties. Offering competitive wages and uniforms. Responsibilities
-children cleanings
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize dental instruments, prepare operatories
- Hand instruments to dentists during procedures
- Instruct patients on proper dental hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Schedule patient appointments
- Assist with dental X-rays and lab tasks
Requirements
- Certification in Dental Assisting
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix an asset
- Experience in sterilization
- Strong communication and organizational skills
