Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality environment. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes appropriately
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and kitchen safety standards is advantageous
- Experience with food handling or basic food preparation can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions accurately
- Ability to speak or understand basic Korean is considered an asset
