Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving issues across various vehicle systems. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all repairs meet industry standards. We have options for both full time and part time positions. Flat Rate or Hourly Options available.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive vehicles, including Ram/Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge/Fiat and diesel engines.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot automotive electrical systems, transmissions, and powertrain components.
- Execute alignment procedures and ensure vehicles are operating within manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and communicate findings to customers clearly.
- Collaborate with service technicians to enhance workflow efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Experience with auto estimating processes is a plus.
- Welding skills are beneficial for certain repair tasks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interaction.
