ABOUT PAINTED ROCK
Painted Rock Estate Winery is a premium estate winery based in the Southern Okanagan Valley. Our wines are produced exclusively from fruit grown on our single estate vineyard located at the base of Skaha Bluffs in Penticton, British Columbia. Our estate sits atop a 56-acre bench overlooking Skaha Lake, of which 27 acres are currently planted. We produce mainly Bordeaux style reds including Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot as well as Syrah, Rose and Chardonnay.
Position
We are currently seeking someone to join our team for the 2026 Harvest team. The position runs approximately between August 31, 2026 through to December 4, 2026.
Responsibilities
Successful candidates will be exposed to all aspects of harvest processing, including sorting, destemming/crushing, pressing, inoculations & fermentation monitoring, pump-overs/cap management, racking, barrel work and picking.
Requirements
· Operation of Forklift. Having a ticket is preferred but not necessary
· Passionate about the wine industry
· Motivated and punctual
· Problem solving ability
· Hardworking & able to work long and flexible hours when necessary
· Work effectively in a team environment
· Capable of lifting 20kg
· Relevant experience and education is a bonus, but not a requirement
· Candidates both with & without experience will be considered
· Eligible to work in Canada – LIMA will not be undertaken
· Have a valid driver’s licence
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
