Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and skilled Pre-Engineered Steel Erectors to join our teams working on a variety of industrial construction projects. This role involves the assembly, installation, and erection of pre-engineered steel structures at various construction sites. These roles involve steel erection and ensuring safety compliance while working at heights on large-scale projects. Safety, precision, and teamwork are essential to ensure successful project completion. We are looking for people to fill roles in Edmonton, Calgary, and Central Alberta.
Responsibilities
- Erect structural steel, bolting, and impacting at heights up to second story.
- Understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of work.
- Work safely at heights and in confined spaces, following safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority (or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience in steel erection
- Ability to complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Basic Ironworker tools required.
- Fall Protection certifications
