We are looking for two candidates for the following:
Position Summary:
The Air Duct Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and maintaining residential and commercial HVAC air duct systems. This role involves removing dust, debris, and contaminants from ductwork, vents, and HVAC components while ensuring a clean, safe, and professional service for customers. A minimum of 5 yers in the field is required. Must be able to travel all over the Maritimes. Must have a valid drivers license.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean residential and commercial air duct systems using specialized equipment.
- Remove dust, dirt, debris, mold (when applicable and authorized), and other contaminants from ductwork.
- Clean HVAC components, including supply and return vents, registers, grilles, and diffusers.
- Inspect air duct systems for damage, leaks, or maintenance concerns and report findings.
- Set up and operate vacuum collection systems, air compressors, brushes, and other cleaning equipment.
- Protect customer property by using floor coverings and maintaining a clean work area.
- Follow all company procedures and safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Explain services performed and answer customer questions professionally.
- Complete service reports, inspection forms, and other required documentation.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean and working condition.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete scheduled jobs efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Residential, commercial, and industrial job sites.
- Indoor and occasional outdoor work.
- Exposure to dust, dirt, and construction environments.
- May require occasional evening, weekend, or overtime work based on customer needs.
Preferred Certifications (Optional)
- HVAC or duct cleaning experience.
- WHMIS certification.
- Working at Heights certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- NADCA Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification (considered an asset).
Pay: $28.00 per hour
