Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Cross-Border Owner-Operator specializing in Sprinter Vans, Cargo Vans, or Box Trucks to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cross-border freight shipments efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries across borders, maintaining safety and compliance standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to operate your own vehicle while earning income through dedicated freight routes.
Duties
- Safely operate Sprinter Vans, Cargo Vans, or Box Trucks for cross-border deliveries, adhering to all transportation laws and safety regulations
- Ensure accurate documentation of shipments, including customs paperwork and delivery receipts
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and border officials to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of your vehicle to guarantee optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and resolving any delivery issues promptly
- Take 80% of revenue
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (G)
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially with Sprinter Vans, Cargo Vans, or Box Trucks
- Strong knowledge of border crossing procedures and customs regulations
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and clients
- Liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000
- Cargo Insurance coverage of $150,000
