Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail oriented Store and Commercial Cleaners to join our growing team at Sparkleen Spaces Cleaning Limited in the West End of Ottawa. This role is essential in delivering high-quality commercial cleaning services that ensure our clients’ facilities remain clean, safe, and professional at all times.
The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Previous cleaning experience is an asset; however, we value a strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude above all.

Schedule
- Evening and/or early morning shifts available
- Typical shifts range from 2–3 hours per day
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, and washrooms
- Sweep, Wax, buffer, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
- Clean and sanitize washrooms, including sinks, toilets, and fixtures
- Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Ensure all assigned areas meet company and client cleanliness standards
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages
- Follow all health and safety guidelines while on site
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting light equipment)
- Effective communication skills in English and or French
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Must live in Arnprior
