Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Carpenter for a Construction Estimator position within our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution. Duties
- Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications l
- Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Utilize estimating software such as Quickbooks
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to determine pricing and terms.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and schedules.
- Analyze project risks and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
- Support project management teams throughout the bidding process and during project execution.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, proposals, and related documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new construction technologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing
- Excellent people skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Demonstrated ability in project management principles related to budgeting and scheduling.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate estimates.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
