Job Summary
Hi there! We’re a welcoming, down-to-earth family in Sherwood Park looking for a full-time, female, support worker/caregiver to become an important part of our 19-year old daughter’s life—and ours.
We’re hoping to find someone who’s in this for the long term—someone who is kind, dependable, and genuinely enjoys building a relationship over time.
We want the right person to feel confident and supported in this role. Training and guidance will be provided, and we’ll work alongside you to ensure you feel comfortable with all aspects of our daughter's care.
A little about our daughter
Our daughter is a young adult with a rare genetic diagnosis (often compared to cerebral palsy in terms of the level of support needed). She’s a happy, social person who loves music, being read to, connecting with people, and getting out in the community.
She does best with someone who is calm, attentive, and engaged, and who brings a positive, caring presence to her day.
