Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality hair styling, grooming, skincare, and nail services tailored to each client's needs
- Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere
- Maintain proper sanitation and hygiene standards in accordance with industry regulations
- Assist clients with product recommendations and retail sales to enhance their experience
- Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized solutions
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking clients in/out, and handling payments
- Upsell additional services or retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barber, hairstylist, esthetician, or nail technician with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, skincare treatments, or nail art as applicable
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Ability to upsell services and retail products confidently without being pushy
- Previous experience managing front desk responsibilities is a plus but not required
- A professional license or certification relevant to your specialty (where applicable)
