Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, take accurate orders, and ensure a memorable dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, food industry knowledge, and a passion for hospitality. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The Server will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, adhering to food safety standards, and upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to increase sales and enhance guest experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, utensils, and service areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow all sanitation, health, and safety regulations in the food industry
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle food safely and practice proper sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
- Excellent time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and courtesy
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
