Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker/Joiner to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, cabinetry, and construction, with the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This role involves crafting custom cabinets and joinery pieces with precision, utilizing various hand and power tools, and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential restorations to commercial installations, contributing to the creation of functional and aesthetically pleasing woodwork.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to produce accurate cabinetry and woodwork.
- Cut, shape, assemble, and install custom cabinets and furniture using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment.
- Measure spaces accurately for precise fitting of cabinetry components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper tool handling procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met within project timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in woodworking or cabinetry with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other woodworking equipment.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during fabrication or installation tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
