Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and restaurant management, along with excellent team leadership skills. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the overall dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including hiring and training
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service flow and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for kitchen operations
- Conduct interviews for potential new hires and participate in staff scheduling
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety of the kitchen environment
- Uphold hospitality standards by fostering a positive work environment and delivering excellent customer service
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety practices
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory control, food safety standards, and customer service excellence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for interviewing potential team members and coordinating with staff
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable

Pay: $42,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
