Responsibilities
- Design and deliver effective FSL lessons tailored to various proficiency levels
- Create engaging instructional materials and activities that promote active learning
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate students with special education needs
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and school programs
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress and areas for improvement
Requirements
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential
- Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably with diverse or special education populations
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage students and collaborate with colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Experience working with students requiring special education accommodations is a plus
- Passion for language education and cultural exchange
- Certification or formal training in teaching FSL or related fields is preferred
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
