Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Flight Instructor (Class-1) to lead our aviation training team. This leadership role requires a professional with extensive flying experience, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for mentoring aspiring pilots. The ideal candidate will oversee flight training operations, ensure safety standards are maintained, and foster a positive learning environment for students. Fluency in multiple languages including French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, and English is highly desirable to support our diverse student base. A background in GIS and mechanical knowledge will be considered advantageous. Duties
- Lead and supervise flight training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols
- Conduct advanced flight instruction and evaluate student performance during practical sessions
- Develop comprehensive training curricula tailored to individual student needs
- Oversee scheduling of flight lessons and coordinate with ground staff to ensure smooth operations
- Mentor and supervise junior instructors, fostering professional development and maintaining high teaching standards
- Maintain detailed records of training activities, student progress, and safety incidents
- Ensure all aircraft maintenance and safety checks are completed according to regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing student concerns and ensuring a positive learning experience
- Collaborate with management on curriculum updates, safety procedures, and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Extensive flying experience with a valid Class-1 Flight Instructor certification or equivalent qualification
- Proven leadership skills with supervising experience in an aviation training environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and training programs effectively
- Multilingual proficiency in French, Chinese, Hindi, Spanish, or other languages is highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse students
- Mechanical knowledge related to aircraft systems is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety and professionalism
- Proficiency in Math and GIS is advantageous for curriculum development and operational planning
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, motivate staff, and uphold high safety standards
- Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus
