Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation during busy service hours
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
- Serve food efficiently to ensure timely delivery to guests
- Uphold excellent food safety practices at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, meal preparation, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with food handling, restaurant procedures, and culinary techniques preferred
- Kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
