Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full Time Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are consistently met. Previous experience in cleaning, hospitality, or custodial services is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies as needed
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored properly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to hotel or facility policies regarding sanitation and hygiene standards
- Assist with additional cleaning tasks during busy periods or special events as required
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality environments preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques for both residential and industrial settings
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
- Flexibility to work full-time hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift light to moderate loads, and perform repetitive tasks effectively
