Reporting to the Operations Supervisor you will be responsible for picking up waste materials along designated routes. You will be operating various type of trucks – tandem axle truck with a rear load, side load or front-end load body (requirement to operate the unit from a right-side drive cab during collection is a possibility). This position is offered in both our Calgary & Edmonton locations.
Qualifications and Skills
High school or GED equivalent is considered an asset
Minimum class 3 Operator’s License with air brake “Q” endorsement required
A clean drivers abstract is required
Pre-employment D&A Test before hire
A minimum of 2-4 years of automatic side-load truck driving/operating experience is required
Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision (at times)
Lifting up 50 lbs repetitively throughout the day
Shifts may require occasional extension to ensure work is completed fully
A recent driver’s abstract will be requested if you are contacted for an interview.
