Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Must have 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Safely operate commercial trucks for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required
Experience
- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience operating freight trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred
- Knowledge of forklift operation and freight handling techniques is a plus
- Experience with automotive repair or heavy equipment operation is advantageous
- Familiarity with safety procedures related to commercial driving and cargo handling
- Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
