Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Mechanical Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all mechanical construction activities on large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with industry-standard management software. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Mechanical Superintendent will serve as a key point of contact between project teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and execution throughout the construction lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise mechanical construction teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align on project goals and timelines.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and client specifications.
- Monitor progress and performance of mechanical work, addressing issues proactively to minimize delays.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment necessary for mechanical installations.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to project progress, change orders, and daily reports using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Assist in budgeting activities by tracking costs related to mechanical components and labor.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising mechanical construction projects within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and schematics interpretation tools.
- Demonstrated ability in blueprint reading, construction estimating, and schematics comprehension.
- Supervising experience with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory standards in construction environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and subcontractors.

Pay: $55.00-$78.00 per hour
