On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is recruiting reliable and mechanically inclined Manufacturing Associates for full-time vacancies in Waterloo, ON.

This role supports production operations by assisting with machine changeovers, quality inspections, material handling, and packaging of finished products.
This is a FULL-TIME opportunity with the potential for long-term employment.
Hours of Work: Night Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, overtime available as required – train on days for 3-4 weeks
Pay Rate: $22.00/hr +1.00 shift premium + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly
- Assist production operators with machine set-ups and tooling changeovers.
- Prepare tooling and materials for production runs.
- Inspect finished products for quality, dimensions, and surface defects.
- Measure products using gauges and other measuring equipment.
- Deburr parts and perform light finishing work as required.
- Bundle and package finished products according to work instructions.
- Read and follow production work orders and packaging instructions.
- Assist with production support equipment and testing set-ups.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Report quality, equipment, or safety concerns promptly.
- Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1 year of machine set-up or production experience.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability and desire to learn new production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Able to read, write, and follow work instructions accurately.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic with an interest in long-term employment.
- Safety-conscious and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Experience operating overhead cranes or forklifts is considered an asset.
- Physically capable of standing for the duration of the shift and performing frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Comfortable working overtime where required.
