Position Purpose
Lead and elevate IFRS 17 financial reporting and analysis for Sagicor’s U.S. operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness while partnering across the business to drive strategic insights, scalability, and transformation.
This is a new vacancy with a salary range between $145,000 - $170,000 CAD
What You’ll Do
As the Director of IFRS Reporting & Analysis, you will:
· Own and lead the IFRS Record‑to‑Report process across SUSA and affiliated entities
· Deliver timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis aligned to Sagicor Group standards
· Partner with Actuarial, Investments, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure strong data and reporting integration
· Provide strategic financial insights to leadership, identifying risks and opportunities
· Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
· Strengthen controls, governance, and audit readiness
· Support financial planning, capital analysis, and profitability assessments
· Play a key role in finance transformation initiatives, including systems and process improvements
What You Bring
· 10+ years in insurance finance, accounting, or financial reporting (life & annuities required)
· Strong expertise in IFRS 17
· Proven people leadership experience (5-8+ years)
· Deep analytical, technical, and problem‑solving skills
· Experience working cross‑functionally in a complex financial environment
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
· Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
· Experience with Bermuda Regulatory Reporting
· Exposure to Oracle or similar financial systems
· Experience supporting large transformation or system implementation initiatives
· Familiarity with actuarial processes and methodologies

Licence/Certification:
- Chartered Professional Accountant (preferred)
