Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Foreman to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring quality standards, managing schedules, and maintaining safety protocols to deliver projects efficiently and within scope. The Construction Foreman will serve as a key point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Duties
- Lead and supervise construction crews, providing clear direction and ensuring adherence to project plans and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide daily operations
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for scheduling, documentation, and project tracking
- Oversee quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and client specifications
- Manage project budgets by assisting with construction estimating and resource allocation
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely procurement of materials and services
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship
- Implement safety protocols and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe working environment
- Prepare reports on project status, potential issues, and progress updates for stakeholders
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in the construction industry with a strong background in managing teams on large-scale projects
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools
- Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, and budgeting processes
- Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations on construction sites
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately for effective project execution
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts efficiently
- Prior experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously is preferred
