ETS Technical is working with a well-established and highly respected international manufacturer of magnetic components, supplying into sectors including consumer electronics, medical, telecommunications, and industrial applications. With a long-standing reputation for quality and engineering excellence, the business continues to expand its global footprint.
We are seeking a commercially driven and technically credible Sales Manager to take a leading role in developing market share and, importantly, supporting and maximizing the effectiveness of an established network of electronics sales representatives through technical and commercial deal support.
This role would suit either:
- An experienced electronics sales professional looking to step into a broader sales management position, or
- A proven Sales Manager with a strong background in magnetic or related electronic components
The Role
A key focus of this position is working closely with, developing, and driving performance through a network of electronics representatives. You will play a hands-on role in supporting their activities, helping convert opportunities, and ensuring consistent growth across multiple territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans across magnetic component product lines
- Actively support, guide, and energise a network of electronics sales representatives to maximise sales performance
- Identify and convert new business opportunities across target sectors including consumer electronics, medical, telecoms, and industrial
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and tier-one customers
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to align solutions with customer requirements
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing, and contract discussions
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
- Deliver technical presentations and support representatives in customer engagements
- Attend industry events and exhibitions to strengthen market presence
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience selling magnetic components or closely related electronic components (essential)
- Technical understanding of magnetic products and their applications
- Experience working with or managing electronics sales representative networks is highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Organised and capable of managing multiple accounts and territories
- Familiar with CRM systems, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred

Location
Hybrid working. Candidates should ideally be based within reach of Toronto Sales area includes Boston/ Chicago. Travelling is 3-4 days per month. The ideal location for candidates is flexible and you could be anywhere in Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City or Toronto.
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
