Overview
We are seeking a skilled Raymond Reach Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating Raymond reach forklifts to efficiently manage inventory and order fulfillment within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. Responsibilities
- Operate Raymond reach forklifts safely and efficiently to pick, store, and move inventory within the warehouse
- Utilize order pickers, and other warehouse equipment as needed for various tasks
- Perform accurate order picking and ensure correct product placement according to warehouse management system (WMS) instructions
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Use basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment
- Heavy lifting of products and materials as required, following proper safety procedures
Experience
- Prior experience operating Raymond reach forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picking processes is advantageous
- Mechanical knowledge helpful for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience with forklift operation, and order picker machinery is desirable
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate inventory handling and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently in a fast-paced environment
