We are looking for a Bilingual Software Quality Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for executing quality testing on our software solutions. This will include working on the newest features of our software, individual defects, and regularly testing critical business processes by utilizing solutions. Under minimal supervision, you will play a key role within the team, understand and apply quality assurance and software testing concepts and practices. We are seeking a bilingual representative to help support our French-speaking customers in the province of Quebec and our English-speaking customers outside of the province of Quebec.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess the condition and quality of software builds, bug fixes and interim releases
- Test and certify software defect fixes and new functionality by executing functional, application and regression tests for software releases
- Clearly document, communicate and escalate all risks and issues
- Write clear defect reports for identified software and functional defects based on testing results
- Work quickly and thoroughly in a fast-paced environment to achieve timeliness and objectives
- Help guide teams to deliver high quality products to our customers
- Work closely with internal teams to communicate complex issues and ensure a good understanding of the software
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of translations across multiple products
Requirements:
- Fluent in Canadian French and English
- Ability to travel to the United States for additional company-paid training, if offered
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- Experience with software testing preferred
- Ability to think critically, problem solve and take initiative
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer is a requirement of the job – 50-60% of the time
