Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, performing manual labor, and supporting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic construction environment. This position offers valuable hands-on experience across multiple aspects of construction and restoration work.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials.
- Use hand tools and power tools to support carpentry, framing, and other construction tasks.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Support the team in executing project timelines efficiently by performing various manual labor duties.
Requirements
- Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or general construction is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work effectively within a team environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills and a positive attitude towards learning new skills on the job. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects that improve communities.
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
