Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items, ensuring excellent food presentation and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food handling and cooking practices meet food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift
- Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow proper meal preparation procedures to ensure consistency and quality in every dish
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Experience in meal preparation and food industry roles will help ensure a smooth transition into this position
