RESPONSIBILITIES
- · Coordinating the delivery, installation, and completion of modular homes and related projects.
· Developing and maintaining project schedules and ensuring project milestones are achieved.
· Planning labour, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources required for project execution.
· Preparing project budgets, cost forecasts, and estimates.
· Monitoring project costs and ensuring projects remain within approved budgets.
· Developing, reviewing, and managing project payment schedules.
· Coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
· Conducting site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
· Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
· Identifying project risks and implementing corrective actions when required.
· Preparing project reports and updates for management and clients.
· Managing warranty work, repairs, deficiencies, and maintenance requirements.
· Performing hands-on construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance work as required.
· Carrying out general carpentry and building repairs.
· Performing interior construction and finishing work, including drywall repairs, painting, flooring, and related tasks.
· Performing exterior construction and maintenance work, including siding repairs, decking, skirting, weatherproofing, and general building repairs.
· Constructing, repairing, and maintaining fences, gates, and other site improvements.
· Assisting with modular home setup, installation, and commissioning activities.
· Ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
· Supporting business development activities by providing project planning, estimating, and operational input when required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- · Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience working with modular homes, prefabricated buildings, or residential construction projects.
· Experience in construction, repairs, renovations, and general building maintenance.
· Knowledge of project scheduling, planning, budgeting, estimating, and cost control.
· Experience preparing and managing project payment schedules.
· Working knowledge of residential construction methods, building systems, and construction materials.
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
· Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools.
· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to perform physical construction and repair work when required.
· Valid driver's licence and ability to travel extensively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
