Front of House Manager - Boston Pizza Front & John ((Boston Pizza Experience or Similar Experience preferred)
Duties:
-Prepare schedules and ensure that the restaurant is properly staffed for all shifts.
-Lead, manage and deliver the Perfect Guest Experience each shift: dine-in, sports bar, take-out and delivery and guest recovery.
- Oversee and manage all front of house operations, including customer service, staff supervision, and ensuring a smooth dining experience.
- Train and supervise front of house staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bartenders.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food preparation and delivery.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and efficient manner.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and maximize restaurant capacity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and restrooms.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies such as menus, napkins, condiments, etc., and place orders as needed.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with food handling regulations.
- Assist the Franchisee /General Manager with all aspects of restaurant operations.
Other duties as required
Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry is required. (Boston Pizza Experience or Similar Experience preferred)
- Must have at least 2 years of Restaurant Management experience required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
- Strong analytical/decision-making skills.
- Leadership skills – able to direct, coach, and supervise a team Customer service skills – able to exceed guest expectations.
- A positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong initiative.
- You must be able to perform efficiently during high volume peak periods.
- Must be able to work flexible hours during, evening, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays.
- Must have Smart Serve & Food Handler Certification.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
