Our shop is now a completely certified cvip shop and we are expanding services to provide cvip and heavy-duty repairs to the public. About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our fleet of industrial equipment—including semis, vacuum trucks, tankers, trailers, and diesel-powered support units.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, pumps, and electrical systems
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks on trucks and trailers
- Complete service documentation, work orders, and parts requests accurately
- Field repairs and troubleshooting when required
- Collaborate with operations to minimize downtime and schedule maintenance
- Work safely and follow all environmental and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic (Red Seal) or equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years experience working on heavy trucks/equipment (vac truck experience an asset)
- Strong hydraulic, electrical, and diagnostic capability
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (Class 3 or 1 an asset)
- Ability to work independently in both shop and field settings
Compensation
Hourly Range: $42–$52/hr
Rate based on experience, certifications, and role responsibilities.
