Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to read drawings properly and understand fabrication techniques.
- Meticulous attention to detail, inspecting surfaces ensuring top quality.
- Checks measurements to ensure proper quality prior to fabrication and reports any discrepancies to shop foreman.
- All sinks to be laid out and checked by another fabricator or Shop Foreman prior to cutting
- Deep understanding of all different varieties of stone and has worked with them before or has a desire to learn high end fabrication techniques.
- Ensures proper techniques of moving stone, understanding different stone requires different methods.
- Checks measurements to ensure proper quality prior to fabrication and reports any discrepancies to shop foreman.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience in a Stone Countertop Fabrication position.
- Knowledge of the construction industry would be a very strong asset.
- Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task and work under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs +.
- Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
